PESA's Corporate Counsel Advisory Committee Co-Chairman, Brad Eastman of Cameron, will make a presentation to PESA member company executives regarding contractual indemnities in light of the Horizon incident. The presentation will cover what indemnities were in place between the various participants in the Horizon matter and how claims for indemnity have been defended.
Our members rely on contractual terms and conditions for a fair allocation of risk in a dangerous environment. We have the first test of these terms in a disaster situation, and we believe that our members need to be informed of the protection these clauses are likely to provide or not provide.
